Why does Happidev exist?

Because talent shouldn't depend on access. Happidev started with one young Nigerian who learnt tech the hard way, and now opens that door for businesses and new engineers alike.

    A young African with a big interest in tech, very little access to computers and almost no guidance. Learning anyway, starting with basic computer training.

  • Happidev is led by Macpherson Dieze, a senior full-stack engineer who has been learning and building in tech since 2015, with a growing team trained through the Happi Growth Programme.

  • We're based in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. We work remotely with clients across Nigeria and worldwide, and meet in person for key strategy sessions.

  • Yes. We act as the technical co-founder, product team or IT team for startups, taking them from idea to MVP to a real product.

  • No. Every project is led by senior engineers. Trainees in the Happi Growth Programme only work under senior guidance, and everything is reviewed before it reaches you.

  • Yes. Once your final payment is made, the custom design, code and content are yours, with no lock-in.

  • It's Happidev, written as one word. People sometimes search for us as Happy Dev, HappyDev, Hapi Dev or Hapidev, and they all mean the same studio at happidev.pro.
